PM1000 is a heat cured, clear (amber) phenolic coating which exhibits outstanding properties in the areas of:
- Corrosion Resistance
- Abrasion Resistance
- Chemical Resistance
- Versatility
PM1000 meets the requirements of the U.S. Federal Register, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) – Title 21 Food and Drugs, Chapter 1, Paragraph 175.300.
PM1000 is applied by spray coating the part, the typical coating thickness is 0.0005″, the range of thickness is .0003″ – .0008″.
The coating retards oxidation of the base material. This coating is not meant to provide impact protection.
The recommended Maximum Operating Temperature of this high performance coating is 392°F (200°C).
PM1000 does not contain any plasticizers. Applications include tank linings, fans, blowers, filter plates, exhaust hoods, magnets, magnet assemblies, pole pieces, rotor assemblies and such.
