Torrance, CA - (BUSINESS WIRE SYSTEM) - Feb. 22,
1999 - Magnetic Component Engineering, Inc., a California Corporation, located
in the City of Torrance has announced that MCE has added active controls to its
web site so that users can calculate flux densities.
The active controls, created by the use of JavaScript, allows the user to
select a material grade, input the dimensions of the magnet, and the distance
at which they would like the value of the flux density., this being the air gap.
The user can then click on the "calculate" button, and within a fraction of a
second they have their number.
Ms. Linda Montgomerie, the president of MCE commented, "… this again shows
our customers our commitment to staying on the cutting edge of
technology." The National Sales Manager of MCE, Mr. Brian
Beeler said "…our engineers are always looking for ways to help the
customer. This will really help our customers easily predict and define a
magnet's performance. And what is best is that it is free!"
Magnetic Component Engineering has a team of programmers that are consistently
finding ways to keep the company on the cutting edge. Mr. Chris Nanji,
the General Manager, commented "I see MCE as the Yahoo of the magnet
industry. MCE is light years ahead of the competition, because of the
dynamic nature of the people that make this company number one."

what the industry has been quoting. Magnetic Component Engineering set a
standard for high-speed accurate manufacturing in 1992. It has since
become the vendor of choice for the aerospace, defense, computer, motor and
