Tips on Using this Website

We have tried to make this website intuitive and consistent. Please click on a topic link above. If you wish to see detailed information about a material, just click on the material grade in the material table that will appear. The Search box (below our logo, appears on every page) may be used by putting in a key word(s). For phrases, put them in quotation marks like “phrase here." For partial words, use an asterisk like “*eodym*”. In the first example, only “phrase here” will be matched as a string, while in the second example, words containing the letters “eodym” such as Neodymium would match. Note that because we were looking for a string within a word, we used an asterisk on both ends of the string.

The Knowledge Base should be used for articles, glossary, or to calculate flux densities of a magnet. To come back to the home page, click on “Home” or click on the MCE Logo. You can’t get lost – the hyperlinks remains with you on the top at all times.
