Information Needed to Obtain a Quote from MCE

When you are ready to obtain a quotation for a magnet or magnet assembly from MCE, you must provide the following information:

  1. A description of the part.  If you have the part described in a drawing, provide a drawing of the part.  If you do not have a drawing, you must specify the dimensions, tolerances, orientation, material type, and material grade.
  2. Specify the required finish on the part. Example: nickel plated or PR1010. If there is no finish, then specify accordingly.
  3. Specify the quantity that you will require.
  4. Specify any special processing, such as special packaging, marking, serializing, inspection, etc. that will be required on the part(s).
  5. Specify if you will require any special certifications, tests, or validations done prior to shipping.  Example: if you will need a first article report done per SAE AS9102, you must specify it.  If you need some special tests, such as a Back EMF test for each lot, or 100% of the assemblies, you must specify it.

  6. Specify any special compliance requirements: regulatory, statutory, or defense, that you will need.  Example: if the parts need to be compliant to DFARS 252.225-7014, Preference for Domestic Specialty Metals, Alt 1, this must be stated at the time the quote is requested, otherwise the quote received may not be applicable for DFARS compliant parts.

After all the information above is submitted to us, we can get back to you with a quotation for your requirement expediantly.
