Conflict Mineral Policy

Magnetic Component Engineering (MCE) is committed to sourcing components and materials from companies that share our values on human rights, ethics and environmental responsibility.

MCE supports the goals and objectives of Section 1502 of the Dodd-Frank Act (Act) which aim to prevent the use of conflict minerals that directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups in The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) or adjoining countries as defined in the Act.

The group of conflict minerals includes the following:

  1. Columbite, from which Tantalum is derived
  2. Cassiterite, from which Tin is derived
  3. Gold
  4. Wolframite, from which Tungsten is derived

MCE is committed to using conflict-free minerals in its products.

MCE appreciates the commitment of its suppliers to the goal of using conflict-free materials and components in all their products.
